Well depends on how much km's they engine already run...
I'm pretty sure it was 10,000 miles. Not sure though since it's not on ebay anymore.

The strange think I heard from that guy there, is that it's a lot easier job to swap an engine on a steptronic than on a manual gearbox E60

Yes the paddles are working fine but the instr cluster is showing gearbox and airbugs errors, he told me that it needs re-encoding ...I don't know if can be so that it will works flawless

PS. The lighting on the M5 dash is AWESOME

thanx.So, maybe there is a greek my530 then
yeah i know...does anyone know how much the m cluster costs?Other than programming should an easy mod

Are u going to change your tranny as well? Because i don't think it will work with the current steptronic?

On the e46, the E39 M5 engine swap normally takes the e39 540i gearbox. I read that it was the easiest way to make everything to work okay.

Nah I will be changing the tranny however I will most likey be goin with the E39 M5 tranny as well but if its possible im hopeing to get an E60 M5 SMG
