Turbo Tuner and JB3 are not in the same league imho.
Between the two JB3 hands down. I think your 2 best choices are between the JB3 or Procede V3 Rev II. I personally have a Procede V3 Rev I on my 335i and will be getting a Rev II in the near future as my next mod (down pipes) are better suited with the Rev II. I'm not going to say one is better vs. the other as the reason one is better compared to other by the users is solely based on what one wants out of each piggy back option.
Read up on both options to determine which one suits you the best. You can read alot of info on both products on E90 post btw.
Either way you will enjoy the added power of this great engine!!!

I have had both. I currently run the JB3 setup on my 535xi and I have the RPI exhaust. They work well because the JB3 adapts to the bolt on mod. The SSTT when I had it alone worked great. It was smooth and reliable with a considerable increase in torque and HP in the low to mid range. It tapers off in the higher RPM range but I can't complain about the simplicity with it. I also have the Sprintbooster when I had it with the JB3 and it was just too aggressive for me so I have both the SSTT and sprintbooster available if you like. $300 takes both if you want. It'll give you both increases in throttle response and power with the SSTT. Easy install too. Aoout 15 minutes each, just make sure you have small hands for the SSTT. Cheers.

JB+ and SSTT2 are about the same thing around 360 hp , would be smart to get a Bmw Scan tool to clear error messages that get stored by the ECU.
Next step up is with the Piggy backs which require entering the ECU bay in the engine
this would be the Proceed 3 V2 and the JB3.. both put you in the 400Hp or so area, much more flexible in set up multiple different parameters to adjust , adaptable to other add on parts ( downpipes , intercoolers, methanol injection , cai/hai, exhaust and headers)
stand alone tunes are:
Dinan , Activeautowerks, and some others which either require removal of the ecu/dme box or full reprogram.
HP claims are a bit dubious by the dynos posted from some owners but the manufacture claims to around the same as the piggybacks

thanks, i dont want to touch the ECU to install JB3, that's why i was looking for JB+ or SSTT, but didnt know which one has better performance and more reliable

I've actually never heard of the Turbo Tuner before now, but I frequent the N54 tech forums alot and the numbers any JB puts up are ridiculous. I just saw yesterday a 335xi with just the JB3 and a DCI run a 4.0 0-60 and a 12.5 1/4. The JB+ was around 4.5 0-60 which is pretty good also.
