Hmmm... I was wondering guys..
For all that has the trunk finisher installed on their non-m5's, as well as M5 owners..
What happens when your car battery accidently dies? or loses power? How are you able to access the trunk, since the keyhole is blocked...?
I got the trunk finisher too, but was just wondering what would happen. Also, I'm not leasing my car so I really SOL if the battery does die as the dealer wont be able to help me.
What would you guys do if that happen? and don't say, call the dealer. hahaha

You use the key hole???? I don't think I ever used the keyole on my E60 and even on my E39. I don't plan on having my battery die. If it does, I should have bought a Dodge.
I never use it either... hahaha.. Just wondering in case.. like insurance..
But my battery did die before. Due to the connection being loose. I was at the gym.. and I was stuck there waiting for a friend to come by and help me out,
Luckily I had the keyhole and popped open the trunk and checked out the battery and tightened the sucker.

Well, you still have the keyhole for the driver's door and the remote trunk switch in the wheel well is mechanical, not electrical...right?

I'm not 100% sure and a bit lazy to go check in the garage right now but isn't there a small black box with a Battery + sign in the engine compartment where you can connect a battery booster pack to boost the battery or at least to get a flow of current going thru the car's electrical system so you can pop open the trunk with your key ?
