I also have the M Lip spoiler on my trunk.......although that adds very little weight compared to the finisher.

Interesting. I didn't even think about the fact the finisher's extra weight would affect the tension of the springs.
One thing I noticed with the stock spring tension is that it's difficult to shut the trunk w/o using a lot of force. The extra weight should make it easier to close like you said. Now I'm worried about it staying open on inclines.
I'm getting mine installed on tomorrow, so I'll share my findings with ya'll.
