No, I'm testing out my new schtick for open mic tonight
BTW, The mod bug hit you pretty hard recently, you should've changed your name to NewYorkCityTrashed! Can't wait to see your review of the ECU remap.
Ha! Where, at the CCH? Who's your audience? The usual knuckleheads?

I will definitely let you know. And yes, the bug hit me again. I wanted to do more with regards to the engine and less with the exterior. The exterior is great and all, but I wanted more power and better throttle response. After this though, I am done! And if I come back from Vegas broke, I will be selling all these recent mods to all of you for real cheap!

For those wondering where the best deals to be had are, there is NO doubt that BMW of Newport (Rhode Island) is by far the cheapest place to buy OEM parts for your car. The parts manager is Garry Romani of BMW of Newport. Just tell him you are an E60.net member and 25% is taken off immediately. He's also a super nice guy and occassionally posts on this forum. All his parts come direct from BMW Group. If it's out of stock, the longest it will take to get in is 2 days.

I paid Garry $144.56 for the OEM M5 Trunk Finisher. I paid $11 to have it shipped (Next Day delivery no less). I paid $75 to have it painted locally. Total cost was $230; painted, shipped and ready to mount.

Competitors on this forum, selling OEM parts, want $300 unpainted, $400 painted! That's more than double! As for other parts, he charges $1250 for the M-Tech kit. The competition wants $1500 and up. You can get the M-Tech kit painted locally AND mounted, while spending under $2K. Last year, I cracked one of my 18" OEM wheels. The wheel retailed for $398. I got the wheel, brand new, in a BMW box, for $260. The box came direct from BMW Group. Garry never even opened it. The packaging couldn't have been better! The competition on this forum. They wanted nearly full MSRP!

Anyway, love the trunk finisher. It tightens up the rear end of the car nicely. And for $144, you can't beat this deal. If you are thinking about OEM wheels (M5, M6, etc), M-Tech kits, Trunk Finishers, M5 Spoilers or any OEM parts for your car, look no further than Garry. Between his fantastic pricing and service, you will be very happy. Plus, he's an actual BMW dealer! I'm pretty much certain he will beat any price you get quoted from sellers on this forum to other dealers in your area.

So for those wondering about the Trunk Finisher, it's a great exterior mod. The trunk should look this way from the factory.

PS - I'll post pix later.
My local dealer gives me the same prices (25%) off. I only difference is instead of shipping charges I pay 6% sales tax.

Garry rocks! Much better than any of the other sellers on this forum!

Might as well order the M Tech kit buddy. It'll round out your car nicely.

I've been trying to lay low on the mods. I'm just living vicariously through you knuckleheads. I just know once I start with one thing it just goes right into the next mod. Case in point...YOU! VT, freed0m, and now C-Money!!!

Just get this one mod Mark. It's the most noticeable "power" improvement you'll ever feel and probably the cheapest.
