My Ride: 2005 545i ordered - built 1/05 - arrived 3/16/05 . Silver Gray - Biege Interior. Sports Package, Steptronics, Comfort Seats, Cold Weather Package, Rear Fold Down Seats, Sat Radio. Mods: Seatback Hangar, Trunk Net, Umbrella.

I have researching the best tint to use on my 545i - I been looking at Huper Optik versus V-Kool. V-Kool is nearly transparent and rejects 70% infrared however uses a metal inference filter film, Huper uses a nano-ceramic filter buts is over the California 70% transmission level - the tinters do not know for sure whether the tints will dimish my radio reception or infer with my radar detector - backward looking aspect, that is.
