dav, I'll write up a procedure when time permits. Hopefully by tommorow.
Hopco, thanks and I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "are they dark like US Bi-Xenon Headlights", when I select the highbeams the inside headlights (inner high beam bulb) comes on along with the low beams (everything in fact).

Hey Busta,
It was very nice to meet you last week and I am very happy that you were able to get the lights to work for you. Were you able to fool the car so that you don't get any error masseges?

Does the seller still have any available?
I am the seller and I don't have any more of these headlights. I wanted the clear side markers instead of the amber reflectors that we have on the US models, but on the E60 (unlike older BMW's) you need to change the entire headlight in order to achieve this. So I looked around on eBay.de (Germany) for months until I found someonw who was selling a pair of these that had all the features that I needed including the adaptive feature (or so he said in his eBay listing). I even contacted him VIA eBay to confirm that they were indeed adaptive and he said yes. Well I bought them and after I received them I found out that they were not adaptive, and meanwhile the guy disappeared from eBay and I could not do anything about it. So that is the reason why I had the headlights in the first place and why I only had one set. I am glad Busta was able to put them to good use.

I only get a "parking light malfuction" message and I think I know what the cause is, I should have it resolved by the end of this weekend..if the weather permits.

Busta needs to find out how to adjust his lights properly, too.
I have that figured out now
