Where: In my garage.
About five minutes. I haven't done it myself but I watched Vegastrashed and another person do it in about five minutes. Basically you remove the gas pedal and it plugs in between the pedal and the plug in the floor.

I wouldn't rely on just C's wife's feedback. My wife drove my car and had no clue. She also didn't notice that I lowered the car with probably the most aggressive springs on the market or did she even comment on the aftermarket exhaust I installed. Some women are just oblivious to these things and that's not to say they're not intelligent; they just don't care.
I'm giving you my honest feedback as a user that I will guarantee you'll notice a difference as the others have said. I noticed it when I first installed it, when I took it off and when I reinstalled it.

ECF---can you list in detail what performance improvement will be noticed on a V-8-V-10? Faster shifts-torque feel, acceleration, etc. How do you make an M5 faster? ;-)
I only ask because guys in So Cal have told me since my remap and with the new shifter in the 08 Step, I'm pretty much maximizing performance minus adding a supercharger and new exhaust. I'm also adding AFE tomorrow.

I'm not sure if the SB will have more improvement on top of your remap but I do know that Vegastrased used it in conjunction with his software upgrade and he said he can still feel the added difference. You should just borrow someone's unit and test it out.
As for my M5, most people on the M5board are very skeptical regardless of my feedback. I have another guy on there that's testing it out and hopefully he'll provide his input shortly. One of the more common replies I get is "we have P500S S6 mode, save your money". My answer to that is, "then tell that to the guys who spend over a grand to get remaps to further "improve" their throttle response". hehehe

ECF,
You were also skeptical when I offered you for a test drive or swab
