ECF - I see you on here. Let our man Mang know about the SB.
You said it all my friend.

SoCal, my530i has it on his 550 and he loves it. I know the sports auto in the LCI cars are probably crisper but I'm sure the SB will even improve on that. I've also included the installation link below:

...technically speaking, is this a mechanical thing or is there logic inside this? i ask because if there is some kind of logic inside it, and being in the semiconductor industry myself, I am wondering if any bug in it can cause the car to think we are flooring it at any time by sending out the wrong signal???

It's def logic inside the chip. As for it sending the wrong signal, that I can't answer. You should buy one, take it apart, see what you find, run a diagnostic and get back to us. Either way, you're sure to enjoy it!

let us know if she did notice something - i think that is the best way (and the fairest) to judge the USD 250 investment. us fanatics are obviously going to be biased with any mod we do...

She hates the car and this forum. If I tell her I dropped a few more bills on the car, she'll beat me senseless. This could be my last post...

I wouldn't rely on just C's wife's feedback. My wife drove my car and had no clue. She also didn't notice that I lowered the car with probably the most aggressive springs on the market or did she even comment on the aftermarket exhaust I installed. Some women are just oblivious to these things and that's not to say they're not intelligent; they just don't care.

I'm giving you my honest feedback as a user that I will guarantee you'll notice a difference as the others have said. I noticed it when I first installed it, when I took it off and when I reinstalled it.

HAHA! Your wife is great. That's so funny T. However, if I remember correctly, she DID notice the new rear diffuser at the last CCH dinner. You even said to us beforehand, not to say anything about it, yet she noticed. LOL! That was classic.

Yes that was classic Vicki. She said that was new and I said no, it came that way. Then VT and my530i parked right next to me and I can see her looking at their cars (they both have the M5 rear bumper). But either she just gave up analyzing or I was convincing enough cause she dropped it.

The other funny thing is although she didn't notice the sound of the new exhaust, she noticed the RDSport blue logo on the tips and hated it. hahaha
