If sombody could figure out how to intigrate SB into the Sport button on my LCI 535i (a la the New M3), now that would be a great mod.... ![Think](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/think.gif)

I want to share my experience with the Sprintbooster. First, I've got to say that this is definitely a good mod if you're a performance enthusiast. As the others have mentioned, the car feels more 'alive' and also far more sporty. The sprintbooster basically reduces the lag from the ECT by multiplying a certain amount you press on the gas pedal. So say before installing SB you have to press the pedal half way down to get your RPM jumping high to around 3-4k RPM. Now you only need to press it 1/4 down to get your RPM to the same point.
For me this is a slightly scary and fun at the same time. Because with my 550i, whenever I rev above 3000 RPM, the car will accelerate really fast. From today's experience driving on the freeway, I didn't even notice that when I was pressing the pedal, I already was going at about 85 MPH and 90 at a certain point. So I had to control my footwork much more than I had to before to keep the speed down because now the throttle is really sensitive.
The MPG definitely suffers a bit from the Sprintbooster because you're reaching higher RPMs far more often than before. Also, it's hard to drive the car in comfort, so I don't really recommend this for people who likes smooth acceleration when they stop and go since the car tends to 'jump' as soon as you press the gas. Otherwise, this is an awesome mod
just my 2 cents...![Cool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/cool.gif)
(Had a few troubles installing the SB, but finally managed to get it working properly...)

i agree with your feedback - smooth driving and high consumption, and of course more tire wear because the way you get off the mark at traffic lights (in an extreme case, you are flooring it at the same time). But i can tell you one thing - having had the sb for 3 weeks in my car, i can confirm that you get used to it and you also learn to gently "stroke" the gas pedal. am so good at it now, that sometimes i wonder if the SB is still working but then if once i follow through with the pedal, i realize how responsive the car is....
so bottom line: yes difficult to drive comfortably but with time you get used to it...
