is it worth the $$, sure it is "IF" u have a manual or the SMG transmission but i think if u have an automatic the SB is basically the same as if u poppin' it into DS mode cuz u get the same reaction from the engine RPM holding its gears longer to redline before changing granted with SB its instant (no lag)....imho, its up to u decide depending on which transmission u have??? know one thing wit the SB your shift patterns are CONSTANT u will pull at every gear to redline u cant turn if off.....u decide if thats good or bad thing.....since i have an auto my decision wuz to skip this mod!!

I would also speak with someone who has an automatic with an automatic sprint booster. RC1818 tried mine and mine is made for a manual car. I'm not sure if the automatic has the same effect to redline as the manual is obviously controlled by the driver.


So does anyone have an automatic car with an automatic sprint booster, does it redline every gear???

You mean with the SB its 45 seconds (obv stretching it ). It is DEFINETLY NOT like being in DS. Wonder how SB in DS would be

AARRHHhhh.....finally somebody who gets my post & asking the perfect question....i wuz very fortunate to be able try out the SPRINTBOOSTER this weekend **(thx eugene134)** since i wuz also curious after hearing all the raves as well, my final conclusion since i have an automatic is that its NOT FOR ME!! i agree theres a time & place for everything and it with the SB it seemed to me theres no turning it off meaning it wuz full throttle at every tap much too responsive for my taste....im sure with alittle time, patience & practice one can modify the pedal control BUT still the gears do hold til redline with the engine screaming which is why i got turned off....again, this is just my opinion after my lil test run -others who have the SB w/automatic transmission plz chime in!!!

**eugene134 took off his pedal w/SB attached and removed mine for the test run so it wuznt like i jumped into someone else car for a ride.....i drove my own car with his pedal & SB attached for my outcome**

yes this is true......manual/auto SB could have different results but i really dont think so.....anybody out there wit AUTO transmission willing to chime in?? lots of curious folks here....

very interesting, i was looking a SB but now think i may hold off. At first I did not like the lag, but now if i want to do fast i push the petal past the "click" point. but, like its been said before, I can sell it here in 40 or 45 sec. thanks for all the info
