Don't forget all of the factors that go into this eqation:
2) Tire sizes (and brand to account for shoulder style ie. sq or round)

Do you know which specific brands have the rounded shoulder?

Not really...at least in the 20s. I know from my Corvette days, Michelins had more a rounded look vs. a Goodyear Gatorback. Some tires may look like rounded shoulders because of the stretch (ie. a 275 on a 9" vs. 10" wide rim.)

Wow! That's not good. Especially sonce you only have the Prokit. Would the tire size cause the problem? What about the 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 wheels? I noticed alot of people have 9" wide in front and 10" wide in rear with 245/35/20s front and 295/30/20s rear for tires.....

Iceman,
Your drop is lower than his and you have no problems at all. Your thoughts?

Had rhe bodyshop roll and grind part of the fender lips...so far no rubbing at all . I'll see if it rubs with 5 passengers in the car <_< . I think I got the wrong wheel offset on the breytons, and I think the recommended tire size for 20s are 245/35-20, 275/30-20, with these tire sizes it should not rub

Not true at all.. I have 20's and dropped it with H&R Race and I have no rubbing issues at all. I took a road trip to Santa Barbara with 4 people in my car with a bunch of luggage in the back and it didn't rub or bottom out. Thats why I think its better if he decides how low he wants to go first and then order the correct offset for the rims. If you have the right offset and the correct tire size you shouldn't have any problems.
Interesting,
How's the ride quality with the Race springs? Eibach's telling me with the Pro Kit it's 15% - 20% firmer than stock and with Sportline it's 30% - 40% firmer. What does 30% - 40% firmer feel like? Is it still a fairly comfortable ride? Don't want it to ride like a Corvette but I'd like it to sit just right with little to no wheel well space. My wheels/tires should arrive within a week. 20" Chrome D1s(+20 offset)....245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear Nitto NT555s.

Your ride sits phat Ice!

I have 255/30/20 and 295/25/20 Breyton Spirits on my E60 with Eibach Pro-kit, and is rubbing on all four corners. I have rolled all my fender lips, and still experience some rubbing
I think its either your offset is wrong or your tires too wide. I have to ask Tim from Eurorev what offset my rims are. But I"m running on 245/30/20 and 285/25/20.

Iceman, that is why you are not rubbing! your wheel diameter is almost exactly compared to stock!
your fronts are 25.79"
stock are (on 19s) 26.72"
your rears are 25.5"
stock are (on 19s) 25.61"
so you must have a rubber band type like tire on your wheel, becareful of little stones in the road..it will bend your rims
most of us set up are 245/35/20 with 275/30/20 and in my opinion is a bout 1'" taller compared to stock but provides the extra cushion there...

now if I want to lower mine, it will be rubbing like most people and that is what im debating now...

Yup you're absolutely correct.. I think any 20" rims you have to becareful of potholes Especially mine with my rubberband tires
