Looking to place some 20s on my 04 non sport package 525. Sportline (2" front 1.2" rear) or Pro Kit (1.2" front and rear. Will the Sportline cause any problems? your thoughts?

I would definately go with sportline. Given that your car doesn't have sport package. The 2" drop up front and 1.2" in back should fill up all your fender gap

:stupid:

I would wait first before dropping. Get your wheels and tires installed and then determine which kit to go with. Most likely you will be fine with the Sportline.

i will be first to tell you i have a 545 non sport and i have h&r race springs on there 2 inch drop and 1.5 in the back... it is a bumpy ride with 20' my recommendation if you dont want to sacrafice the ride to much go with sport springs

Cool....I was thinking the same. Heard you may have to roll the fenders though....I'll mount them first and go from there. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated.

Depending on the offset of the rims, fender rolling is not needed

I think you should know what drop you're doing first then order the right offset for your rims so you don't rub.

money99 07-12-2006 02:53 PM

they will rub regardless with 20s trust me my back ones and fronts rubbed no stopping that

eurotechnik 07-12-2006 03:39 PM

what about buying custom rims (offsets, size, width). Companies like iForged, Agio, HRE, DPE..don't they make custom offsets to match your aggressive/sporty drop so that you don't rub you inner fenders?
