Sportautomatic (SAT) retrofit
@Soryn14 - have you adapted the wiring correctly to accomodate the M5 wheel vs the M-sport/sport wheel?
The "standard" paddles for SAT are the push/pull for down/up shift, so the different contacts (from the push/pull) on each paddle trigger the voltage changes for shifting. In your setup, I'm assuming you would need to adapt the wiring so that pressing the "+" would be equivalent to "pulling" the standard paddle(s) and pressing the "-" would be equivalent to "pushing" the standard paddle(s). If you haven't re-wired to accomodate this already, it's probably a good place to start.
Not sure if anyone else has completed this setup, but I'm sure they'll chime in if they have.

Hi,
Does the slip ring on E60 525i on LCI Europe already has the pins and everything? I only need to connect pin 12 and 13 to ebox in engine bay and ground? Surely would also fit in the SAT ecu+shifter.

Thanks bert69. From WebETK with my VIN I see that I have GA6HP19Z, also in realoem.com I see that this is the same gearbox in 525d, 530i and 535i atleast. If not possible what else do I have to do to have the paddle shifters, as that is what I am mostly interested in. Thanks again. And, can I just do the SAT ecu, shifter and button?
