I used the 12x24 bulk sheet with a heat gun and a squeegee to push out the air bubbles. its jsut like applying window tint but on your lights. for the bump, there were a few bubbles. what you can do for that is push all the air bubbles down to one end and use a small syringe to remove the excess air bubbles.

Cool, thanks r9ndy. Two more questions: did you smoke the whole light or just the red portion? Second, can you do both tails with the 12x24 film or do you need to purchase two? Thanks!

WRONG! i have the film done on the red portion with out any bubbles so far. I purchased my film from www.lamin-x.com Very durable film, same as clear bra material.
Take it easy rodney. LOL! I was just saying it doesn't come in a pre, laser-cut film that fits perfectly for the red section, like it does for the clear. I'm sure you can get around it, using regular tint or lamin-x, which I looked into, but with the bumps and all, it seems like quite a hassle. At that point, you might as well just spray the lights a light tint if you want to do the whole section.
