Looks great. Do you have smoke or light smoke on your car?
I think I have light. Does it come offered in different shades?

That's my opinion too.

I just need to know if the brake lights can be easly seen in the day time if are painted.
If you don't go too dark, it shouldn't be a problem--assuming it's properly done (ie. not oversprayed)

Chang - Just as FANTASTIC 5 mentioned below (Thank you F 5 ), I got the film from this seller. It's laser cut to fit directly on to the clear part of the rear tail light. However, it requires you to fit it as if you were tinting the window. That means you'll need a spray bottle of soapy water, a hairdryer or heat gun and a squeegee. If you're not handy, I would take the film to a local tint shop, throw them $10 or $20 and have them do it. I did it myself, but would suggest having a professional do it.

Anyway, the tails look great. I get compliments all the time and most of the time, people think they are sprayed. And the best part is, I paid $20!

I swear Calton, we're like the only 2 members on here that have the exact same tail lights!

Really? Is there a precut film or did you get the bulk sheets? If so, what size and how did you do it? Thanks.

V - I thought you knew I had this done to my car??? Turkey boy and I both did it around the same time and we always talked about it at the CCH dinners...

Anyway, here you go: http://carcustomz.com/osc/series-0406-smok...film-p-610.html
thanks for the link cman, but I cannot access it

I just get some strange message, which looks as though it has an issue with me accessing from Germany :

==================

Warning: require(includes/languages/german/header_tags.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/carcmin4/public_html/osc/includes/header_tags.php on line 15

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/languages/german/header_tags.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/carcmin4/public_html/osc/includes/header_tags.php on line 15

==================

I've also tried going in via google, but that throws up the same message. Are others able to access the site ok?

I used the 12x24 bulk sheet with a heat gun and a squeegee to push out the air bubbles. its jsut like applying window tint but on your lights. for the bump, there were a few bubbles. what you can do for that is push all the air bubbles down to one end and use a small syringe to remove the excess air bubbles.

Ditto on the tail lights pieces, what I found most useful when applying the tail light pieces was to use lots of water. Much easier to move around and it is most definately helpful if you have a helper to put pressure on the film when applying it to help minimize bubbles.
