Just got a quote from johntintedtails and he said the Stage 2 medium tint job would be $95 plus shipping which is $20, plus another $20 if I want just the red portion tinted coming to a total of $135 with a 2-Day turnaround. Is this a reasonable price to pay? Also, my car is black and I'm thinking about blacking out the whole taillight instead of smoking just the red portion, what do you guys think of the blacked out tails on a black car?

just order it from carcustomz.com, they sell it for 29.99 +shipping or at lamin-x.com for I think 49.99 +shipping and do it yourself. at first I was going to have it installed in a shop, but could not wait any longer so I tried installing it my self and it wasn't that hard, it's pretty easy!!!! if you only want the red portion tinted, you can use a blade to cut it out! the one from lamin-x comes with a step by step instruction!

Yea, only problem is that I have the aftermarket led taillights which have 3-ribs protruding from the sides, whereas the oem ones only have 1 rib, if that makes sense. Is this still workable?
