Now that is appears to be possible to install Sirius in '04 E60s with NAV (and with Sirius prep), I am thinking of getting it. What are the typical cost to get it installed? North American BMW told me the recommended price was $350 (module) +$9.95 (bracket) + 1 hour of labor, but told me inexperienced service centers may charge 2 hours of labor. Does anyone have first hand experience with this installation and the cost they paid?

[/quote]I have found that it varies greatly. I have a service appt. for Sirius install at Tate BMW in Annapolis, Maryland next week and I expect it to be in the 600 dollar range. The dealer I purchased the car from, Passport in Marlow Heights, Maryland, gave me a much higher estimate. I think it was somewhere between 800 and 900 dollars.

NC530i
I just paid $613.13 - total for the install. I already had the $75 prep package.
2 hours labor = $220
Sirius Receiver =$350
Bracket/Nuts =$ 15
Tax = balance
Let me know if you have any other questions

Here's my cost breakdown...
PARTS:
Receiver: $350.00
Bracket: $9.40
Hex bolt: 7 x .35 = $2.45
Clip nut: 3 x 1.00 = $3.00
Total parts: $364.85
(Less 15% BMW CCA discount: $54.73)
Total parts paid: $ 310.12
LABOR:
Install Sirius: 82.50/hr x 1.5 hours = $123.75
(Less 15% BMW CCA discount: $18.56)
Total labor paid: $105.19
Grand total: $415.31
There was no free year of service included from BMW but since I already have more than one Sirius subscription, I was able to take advantage of some additional savings directly from Sirius. I was able to pre-pay in advance for one year of service for only $83.88 (including activation fee.)
My grand total for everything installed and 1 year of service was $499.19. Not too bad, I must say.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Oh, and did I mention that Sirius is awesome!!

I also did not get 1 year free. They told me that they would give me 2 months free. But, since I bought the lifetime subscription it didn't really matter.
I agree that Sirius rocks!

Oh and I did not get the BMWCCA discount, so mine was around $539 (installed, before local sales tax).

Interesting...
I'm wondering if the ESN of the BMW units are flagged for a free year in some Sirius database.
I may have to call them and see if I can get an extra year on top of the one I already paid for...
