I have a 2008 528i with a broken right front yellow side marker (I think that's what its called- the passenger side turn signal in the wheel well?). Two questions: 1) Can I repair/replace this on my own? 2) Does anyone know the part number and where I could get it from?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

your manual is pretty self explanatory in terms of removing the side indicator housing and bulb

to remove the housing, slide the light/housing toward the trunk, tab will pop out and simply maneuver the rest of the housing out...

Thanks for the quick post! I'm not sure we're talking about the same light (I think the one you sent is called the "side mounted" light in my manual). I should have added a picture with my initial post. This is the light I'm talking about- front passenger side wheel well. I'm almost thinking that I have to get a dealer or body shop to do it, ouch.

I would suggest to black that out. The reflectors in our LCI cars look ugly.

A good way to take the reflector off is to heat it up with a hairdryer and slowly pry it off with a small flathead.
