I really hope mine are worn out and are not this bad from the factory... Rear is like a ship when more than two ppl are in the car, makes me sea-sick! My car has 160'000 km on it so they could well be worn out, but I've driven an E60 with the sport suspension (226) with the same mileage and that felt way better. So instead of just replacing the shocks I'm looking to install the OEM sport package (springs, shocks and bump stops).

Is there possibility to install bilstein shocks on my oem springs? If yes, witch model of bilstein will fit 545? I got Dynamic Drive, so I should use any special shocks?
Bilstein B6 is for original springs, B8 is for lowered cars. Dynamic Drive does not require special shocks.

I made today second shockt test, this time at BMW dealer , front 78% rear 68% so first time at inspection those assholes make mistake.
But maybe in the future I change original one for KONI FSD, somebody have got it?

I have FSD, love it. On good road i dont see a lot of difference in handling over the OEM sport shocks, but on the bad road wow, the car feels like my old E38 750 and that with 19" wheels:-) The difference on bad roads is huge, if you dont have ideal road conditions all around you, i strongly reccomend the FSD. Best compromise between sporty ride and comfort.

a little review i found

At 85k mile my right front strut was leaking so I replaced the fronts with Bilsteins. Initially the front-end was elevated but it has settled. I have a 545i Sport

Alfonze - love those 7-series wheels on the e60. Haven't seen those before on an e60 although I've always like them on the 7s.

User tasi has them on a silver E60 and with a bit lowered car, there you can see the real beauty of them.

I have very dark colored and doesnt seem 19" (some people even say that they are like steel rims:-P), but my main point of getting them was the price and the fact that i dont need spacers to beautifully fill the huge wheel arch of the E60 (stock 124 were way too little and too deep inside, same thing with the 95 on 7er series). And ofcourse since they are hugely wide (9" in the front and 10" in the back) i can use good gripping tires:-) But they go well with the dark theme im getting. I should be finished darking out the lights and exhaust by the end of august.
