I always wonder if I'm the only one who has this problem so now I just want to share and see if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

I only use my car during weekends so the car is just parked in the garage without moving for 5 days. Once I hit the hiway (rght after being parked for a long period), I notice a slight shimmy around 80km/h. It eventually goes away after a few hours of driving. Now I don't know whether this shimmy is caused by the tires formation of a flat surface (where the tires touch the ground) when parked for a long time. Or maybe my wheels are just not balanced.

Just wanted to hear what you guys think before I have it checked for balancing. Thanks.

Yeah, sounds like dead (or flat) spots on the tires from extended non-use.
