Got it, Thanks. Will try this this weekend, How will it hold up against car washes?
I'd guess poorly.

I like the 3 series coupe trim- it's sort of a brushed silver.
I agree that chrome trim gives a contrast and looks good on TiAg and Space Gray cars. It looks alright on darker cars too, but once you dark tint the glass, it becomes too much. Chrome isn't just for trucks or blinged out cars- a lot of nice cars have chrome done nicely.
With that said, I will probably get slt and black kidney grills since my tint is near 10%.

Hahaha Attempted the ghetto trim today. I quit after a hour, It was hard streching the tape trying to make it fit. There was also a few bubbles that wouldn't come out. I tried it with both electrical tape and Vinyl. I'll just save up and wait for the OEM.

Hey Uzzle...why dont you remove the chrome trim...sand it down a bit with a light sand and paint that shit man! i would do it if i had chrome trim. Whats the worst that could happen? i doubt it will chip if you do an ok job on the paint..and if it does then w.e ...you were gonna replace it with shadowline anyways..

If chrome trim was considered cool..........why don't BMW put it as standard on all the M Cars. I reckon it's because it's not sporty looking, where as (High gloss) shadowline is.
