Thanks that makes sense, I didn't know they were aluminum. Thank you all for the replies regarding the exhaust I am going to order it ASAP. I have my Velocity on the way so going to install that first

I posted pics of a DYI of the scoops.
I did feel that they were flimsy with only the 3 screws they provided, so I tapped on more in on each scoop to firm them up to my liking.
After having them installed now for a few months, they haven't moved / bent / folded.
Hope this helps.
