Great write-up and pics. Enjoy your RPI.
So Dave, when are you going to get yours?

Congrats on your new RPi exhaust hope you enjoy it!
Do you have the scoops and drop in filter yet? If not be sure
to Pm nerweezy for the best pricing.

I do have the scoop and BMC Filter. My only complaint is that i did all of these mods within a week of purchasing the car and really don't know what it was like performance wise before the upgrades. I mean I absolutely love it the way it is now, but have no comparison to stock really, as i didn't spend enought time with it stock to know.

Do you have a sprint booster? I've had mine for awhile now and went crazy on Monday when I took it off before going into the Stealership. When I left the lot I tried to pull out and it felt like something what holding me back. I immediately found a spot to pull over and reinstall the SB. Only took 1-2 minutes. Big difference with SB.

I don't, but i went around in the forums on a post a few months ago about it. Too me, it's just magnifying the response and you loose the top third of the pedal. I like the idea of better response but hate the idea of loosing the top third of my accelerator depression. I'm sure you do love it and its working for you the way you want, just not my thing I guess.

You mean the jackstand? It's for back up.

If you look close, its balanced on my sons head...j/k - the jack stands are only there as a backup in case the hydraulic ones on the normal lift points on both sides fail.

Nice work! The pics are great. I'm about to install one on my 550i. What's the best way to measure? Any tricks to it? Or special things to consider?

best way to measure will be to hold up the exhaust against the stock exhaust while the car is lifted and mark where you would like to cut the stock exhaust
