Ok so you asked for it....just know that this is MY PERSONAL OPINION
IMHO it looks way too "Body Kit" like....
1) Its like the upper portion looks good and progressively gets worse the lower you go.
2) The surrounding area of the fog light looks like one flat piece of plastic (looks cheap)
3) The body line above the fog light cutout area doesn't even follow the line of the cutout
4) Whats with the random triangle shape on the bottom corners of the side cutouts (fog light area)
5) The wheel well edge of the bumper flares outward - not lining up to the position of the sides
6) Sharper/Deeper line at the inner corner of headlight
7) Body lines create a "shelf" under the headlights
I think thats all I can think of right now. Like I said this is just my opinion. I understand people want to be different and thats everyone's choice, I just prefer a more refined, oem look.

Wow.. That's what I call some 'serious feedback'!!
Thanks much for taking the time to be more specific, socale39 !
Obviously, your personal review/criticism of the Rieger Front bumper is highly subjective. But, then again, that's what modding is all about, right...?!
I'll give your points a closer look and see how much I do agree (...which, of course, doesn't really matter to you, since I am the one thinking about putting that bumper on my car...). You certainly gave me some food for thought, bro...
Thanks!

Thanks, guys.... good points. Still in love with the Rieger Front (and Rear) though ...
I know you guys can care less - but I still think it looks great:
Now that I see it in black, I even digg the rear:
(Taken from Black 545i w/ Rieger Body Kit
I was always trying to figure out the differences between the M5 and M-Tech fronts in particular - which are really subtle IMO - and I finally took the time to get all front bumpers together in a side-by-side comparison:
It's "Rieger or bust"...!!! (at least as front & rear bumpers are concerned). I know think that the M-Tech front looks rather boring; I'd rather take the M5-Rep - if I had to.
-- So, who wants my business, Gents, and offers the best price (...wink, wink ... - Trinity? - Vivid? - ModBargains.. ..) ??

i like the rieger too, and that's what i'm getting as well. got the oem m-tech rear (liked it more), and plan to get m-tech side sills. the nice thing about the rieger is the brake ducts are integrated with the front bumper.

The Reiger bumper looks great! It has a more updated look. Just kinda pricy! anybody want to start a group buy?
I also need some sort of side skirts. Hamann look great but also up there! Where can I get the best deal shipped to NJ
I just had my M-tec rear end and trunk finisher installed for me at the dealer. Front and side skirts are still the stock oem though.

To me, the Rieger definitely is heckuva lot more "aftermarket" look. And you definitely need to have a lot more stuff going on to supplement that level of modding/aggressiveness.

Would buy it if it weren't so ****ing expensive. Like the umnitza M5 style too and could get 3 for the same money... Modding is all fine and cool, but it needs to be affordable - at least to me. I don't care how many others can throw tons of cash on pricey modding. Unless the price comes down, I'm not going to buy... but, that's just me. Certainly a nice kit, except maybe the skirts, which I like less and less the more I look at them.
