Hi guys. Does anyone have any experience with d2 racing coilovers? Are they comfortable? What I'm after is to lift my car while still maintaining or even improving the ride comfort. I live in the Philippines and the stock height of the e60 is pretty low for our roads. I'm asking about d2 racing because it's what is readily available here. Thank you very much.

Are the ST coils the same as KW Street Comforts or the KW V1?

Whoa nice! Musta kapwa pinoy! You have an amazing ride pare! But you dont live here anymore?

How about the d2 racing? Do you think it's good? I dont know where to get the kw. I dont want to import because the customs here has been very strict lately.

The M5 has a V10 engine and weighs more than our cars, hence lower stance is likely, dunno if they use the same part# for springs.

Also each car has its own characteristics hence some variances. How's the stance on yours now? Noticed any improvements as the settled?

Still pretty much the same. The front is perfect, but the back just needs to be a little bit lower.

I looked into the KW street comfort coilovers again, but it turns out that you can't go that low on them. Ksports have a more appealing price, but I need to know what the comfort is like. Some people say its comfortable & some say its harsh.

There is one VERY important catch to using springs to lower the car. Yes, the ride will be more like the stock ride, however, if you use the springs with stock shocks you reduce the life of the shocks immensely. I had springs before I got coilovers (H&R springs to be exact), and my stock shocks lasted about 4 months. Since I didn't want to raise my car back to stock height, I went with coilovers when I got the chance to replace them.
