Default Retrofitted folding mirrors without any function

Hello,

I have a problem with my retrofitted folding mirrors. They are without any function. No adjustment oft the mirror glass, neither does the folding function work.

I bought new folding mirrors for my E61 525d (12/2005) cause the old ones where completely corroded. The old ones didn’t have the folding function.

Old and new mirrors do have the 4 pin connector. Old one with 4 wires, new one with 3 wires.

On the driver side I already changed the switch block to the one, with the extra button for the folding function.

I started first with the mirror on the passenger side. According to the WDS the mirror gets the LIN BUS Signal on PIN 2.

So I switched PIN 45 to PIN 14 (X16760 left connector) in the KGM (Karosserie Gateway Module) under the glove box. This is the LIN signal for the passenger side mirror

The 12V power supply I took from an external power device. PIN 1 = +12V and PIN 3 -
(I took aout the pins from the connector and put the Power to the mirror)

The I coded the following VO:

- Special equipment $430 (SPIEGELPAKET) in CAS & LMA

Nothing worked, no adjustment or folding.
Then I reseted the KGM with an empty .MAN file without success.

Then I coded (before it was nicht_aktiv):

ASP_BEIKLAPPEN = aktiv

ASP_LIN_SPIEGEL= aktiv

Also without success. Mirrors are completely without any function.

The window regulator work, also with the new switch block.

Does anyone have a solution or any tips I can try to get the mirrors working?

Thank you,
Christoph
