Recently read this thread.
My car is 2006 E60 and I have a 6.5" on-board monitor for reverse camera and iDrive. Thinking about retrofitting to TV function and being reading tons of threads. Here are some questions I could not find on the internet.
1. Can I use my current 6.5" on-board monitor with TV retrofit kit?
2. If I can't, can I use my current 6.5" on-board monitor with settop TV tuner kit?
3. The worst option is, someone told me I have to retrofit having Navigation system before retrofiting to having TV function. This will be costy.
