That would work yes. It is generally optional simply because most people choose to just wire to their parking lights - it's a lot easier (or existing angel eyes power wires).

To the first statement: Bullshit, even the absolute best electronics manufacturers know, and plan for, a +/- 0.5% failure rate
To the second comment: Not exactly a winning stance to blame the customer (especially when said customer was one of the first to have done the white LED eyebrow mod)

Thanks. I'll have to try what tex_phil did while I get the TheRacerBoss cables. For now it works after I tapped the headlight. Raining outside for the next couple of days. Not yet. Came back home yesterday and was tired. Got lazy. Today is pouring out and will continue for the next couple of days.

it really sucks because i specifically asked for the pre-LCI set and got something else....that didnt fit like the first set i ordered. but im sure the good folks at Umnitza are gonna help a brotha out....stay tuned.
