20, that is it In the states I think it would cost me 60 US. I have to take a trip back to Scotland! I would of course spend more money going to Scotland but I can travel there some more so it pays off.

I just checked it finally went down in price to 45 US

Yes, I bought it on spec and have been delighted with it, I sometimes take it into the hospital if I've a night shift and watch with the battery pack in the wee small hours!

the one thing that would make it perfect would be an av input so it could be used with a ps2/camcorder etc.....I think the nextbase folk are planning that for the next model.

Thanks DD,

Hey, don't underestimate the importance of this post. I was trying to figure out a nice way implement DVD into the rear seats when I get my car. Screens in the headrests are an option, but I like the clean look of them without, plus the headrest screens draw attention, and you have to cut away leather that you have already paid for.

This is a nice, clean, removable solution that I will keep in mind for my car. Very "neat" looking, and DD says the picture is great.

How does the audio work? What if two kids need to watch it?
(Sorry if these have been answered already)

audio through the built-in speakers is ok but not for long, audio via the headphone output is great and it does come with a y-splitter for two sets of headphones

Very nice DD,
I found the tablet DVD player at my local electronics store for 250 euros..hmmm

I had a Brodit for my PDA in my E46.
How does the tablet DVD mount onto the holder? the tablet dvd I found did not seem to have any screw threads in the rear ??

TIA, Andy
