Rear Deck Speaker Static - when off

My Ride: 2011 550i - Sport, Premium 2, Cold Weather, Active Seats, SmartPhone Adapter, split fold down seats.
Got in this morning to go to work, and had a strange noise emanating from the rear seating area. Upon inspection, it was static coming from the speakers in the rear deck lid. The funny thing is - everything was off! Started the car, turned on the radio - still there. Arrived at my destination, cut the engine off - still there. I'll go out in a little while to check, but has anyone experienced this condition before? I have '08 550i with logic 7
