Put all-weather rubber floormats on top of the carpets?

i like to remove the floormats in the winter and use the all-weather.
Then every now and then I use the original floormats. Specially when going out in a very nice summer afternoon.

i just realized the relevance of this question. i suppose in places that have weather it makes sense to remove your nice oem floormats... but not in los angeles.
