I got my quote on my Ipod retrofit kit from my stealership. $460 installed. I think its a pretty good price considering I have to get the software update anyway. Their charging me $307 for the parts and $153 for labor. So I think its a good deal.
I wanted some of your opinions on this. Thanks.
I have a 2006 525xi without navi or CD changer.

i just quoted yestoday and they told me $572 plus tax for parts and labor... i was thinking of getting the ice mod. do you ned the dealership to program that or can i just put it and it will work
?
?
So I think for you it would depend on what aux outs you have available on your car.
My quoted price is looking pretty good.
Got it done today. Price came out to $450 for everything, which I'm okay with. I don't like going to the dealership for anything except to buy original parts. But I had a recall that had to be done to my I-drive along with the Ipod update too. So all in all everything is good.

For those prices why not consider the Dension if you already have the CDC. Much better and you get USB and bluetooth too (if you want)
