My first two Orion projects were done by soldering iron, which is what Umnitza said to do. BIG GIGANTIC HELL NO. This takes forever, emits toxic fumes like a mofo, and the opening is very terrible. In most likely cases, you are probably going to have to reseal a few times because it's ridiculously hard (more like impossible) to get it all perfect the first go.

Yes, I have a 6000K kit in there. It's kind of funny, I think because of the projector, it doesn't look as white as it does with reflector But hey, still looks good.

Agree with you there. Not really sure why its recommended. The melted edge is a real mess too. We'll see how it goes, fingers crossed

I know why, lol. But that'll be discussed in PM, hahaha.

In any case, if you do need recommendations on how to reseal, hit me up on PM. This is a pretty tough process, and I highly doubt anyone has got it right the first time.

Also, not sure if you have errors right now in the iDrive, but if you need help there, I can answer questions as well.

Ah thats just what I wanted to hear... theyre already sealed though as of a few days ago. Is the concern with the actual seal and it staying together or with the fitment in the car?

I actually didnt check for errors, I know I should have especially since I put xenons in the low beams. If I get errors I was planning on just turning off the hot/cold monitoring and whatnot with NCS so it doesnt check for any of that. I'll let you know how it goes.

Either way, I couldnt help testing your fade on/off tonight. I took a video of it, still not great since its dark (and yes its snowing but really wanted to see it). Now that I see it I'm definitely going to do the eyebrow too.

Are you in US?

If yes, US harness requires less parts
