I have the Dinan intake on my 545i and it only gained like 2-3 hp. I'm sure with their "real world" dyno it will gain what they say it gains. I've heard that their dyno is CRAZY.
i think the only thing crazy about their dyno is the numbers it puts out, sorry, but im a little upset with the results of the dyno, for the amount of money dusan and i, not to mention countless others have spent, id say these parts are a sham....do the math everybody, they are claiming approx 30 hp with the cai, tb, s3, and exhaust, lets say there is 30% drivetrain loss(which is being more than generous), that still doesnt equal 0 improvement, you should still see 20 at the wheels......

I have have S1, which seemed to make a diference, and was deliberating over whether or to drop the $ for S3. As has already been pointed out these are expensive products and the discrepency between Dinan's calibration tool and some other similar but "inferior" one should not be an absolute zero, should it? That logic does not ring for me.
Thanks for making my difficult decision a very easy one. I look forward to hearing Dinan's reply to this person's frustrating results.

That's VERY disappointing news and thank you for posting it.

You guys should read this updated thread: https://5series.net/forums/index.php?showto...t=0&start=0
His dyno numbers didn't change but it looks like he got a 2-3mph improvement on his 1/4 mile trap speed which would indicate that he did gain horsepower. The debate is still ongoing however.
