Hey Tony!

Who said anything about headers? My description of my exhaust is to give people an explanation of how it's constructed. The starting point of the work is "from the headers" to ______. I missed your original post asking me about the Headers. I will change my sig to make it more clear.

Jay C
Ahh...thanks for the clarification. I just saw the word headers and was excited to know where you got it from.

Your car looks extremely sporty man. I love the contrast of the CF against the space gray.

Coming from the guy who has one of the sickest BMW's on the planet, I really appreciate your props. Seriously.

Now let's get em together in So Cal sometime soon so you can humble my Queen back into her lair.

Jay,
I think you might want to change your sig to say from the Primary cats... unless Pepe removed your cats?

Ooouu weee. What a sick looking thing. Especially like the CF rear and nicely fitted tail pipes. It's a bit steep for me, but it looks really nice. The front splitters are not as appealing in the pics (fish eye effect), but I'm sure it look better in person.

What is the brand and size of the rear tires?

Great question and one I'm not comfortable about answering without a dyno.

IMO, with all engine mods and the performance exhaust, she's pushing 380-390 HP and similar torque. A real beast. I'm supremely confident she is sub 5' 0-60 from dead stop. I'm going to race my buddy's new M3 Coupe in about another couple of weeks once he breaks her in. I'll let everybody know how I fare.

Jay C

It would be interesting to see how your car compares to an E39 M5 (400 HP). Keep us posted !

Jay,

I was listening to your exhaust video and my stuff and straight through videos back to back, and it appears that sound note from the interior of both cars are about 98% the same and almost undistinguishable. I've got some pretty sensitive ears that compensate for my poor eye sight. In any case, with windows up, your sound level (drone for the very sensitive ears) is a noticeably louder than my stuffed wool but very much unlike the through-straight video.

The advantage to you by placing your muffs toward the center of the system is better low end torque compared to rear placement, possibly better sound control (drone control) by <3 db, and more flexibility for exhaust tip positioning and design at the rear. Additionally, the rear tip resonators probably works just as well as the OE center box resonator. While the 4 1/2 inch Remus canister extend past the ground clearance plate about 1/2 to 1 inch, it's probably not an issue unless you go across one of those steep angle approach to underground parking.

Great job.
