weird...I must be a little bit nervious.. After reading the posts, I have decided not to coat the rear bumper. Actually left a message for the person who sold me the 3m, the finance guy, and told him to hold off on the rear bumper, but to go ahead with the front bumper.

We'll see tomorrow...if it gets done...is it easy to take off if it looks aweful? Yikes, jitters before delivery...
Good choice - I did the front bumper/hood (front 1/4) and the mirrors. Having it done right away is a good decision, I waited and paid the price.

I don't see the need for the rear. This stuff is to protect mainly against chips.

Congrats and enjoy

I have it on my car and it really helps. $595 sounds fair.

Yes, very fair. I paid $900 for my Autobahnd film installation (and that was after I talked them down $100). No rear area on my car.

I think rear bumper application would help protect against parallel parking scrapes and bumps. The film is a lot tougher than people give it credit for. I have the door edging as part of the package on my car, and I've accidentally let the door open into the concrete block wall in the garage a couple of times - there is -zero- disturbance on the film. On my last car, that kind of mistake would have (and did) remove paint from the door edge.

My car is silver-gray. You won't notice the film at all.
