I'm undecided. I'm currently thinking about the best way to strip the paint. sandblast would be most effective, but aircraft stripper would be messy but cost effective.. hrmmm

Also, feel free to PM me. I dont mind sharing what I know.

I've been following the progress. HATS OFF TO YOU!! I start these project and then get bored--I cannot keep up with that tedious work. But the fruits of your labor look awesome. I have to agree with one of the other posts above: I am not a great fan of deep lips, but some look great and yours do.

I would change the color of the spokes. They look OK, bit seem to be too bling-ie. They do not seem to fit with the silver car/dark window theme. Maybe gunmetal, hyperblack, or even black...

You need to lower the car.. The gold color is not bad at all..
If you want to change the face color i would suggest gun metal / bronze

Awesome work you got going on there! As a suggestion I would definitaly go for gunmetal grey with your polished lip! Without a doubt!!

Thanks... recently got laid off from work so the work on the wheels will be paused temporarily. I'll be cracking at them again soon.

Cleaned the car yesterday evening.

The car rubs in the back when I hit a decent bump. My rear tires are 295/25/20. Its currently sitting lowered on sport suspension, but I didnt think I'd have rubbing issues. What do?

If you are running spacers, remove them. I suppose you don't, so option 1 is to go for a narrower tyre, recommended 275/30... Or option 2 is to roll the fenders... It depends on how far the wheels are sticking out... Do you still have a lot of tyre left?

Loving the setup!

Search the spot where it rubs and see if rolling the fenders could help.

Thanks Anz

I'm not running spacers, but the wheels are almost flush in the rear due to the offeset +16 in the rear if I'm not mistaken. The tires are used in the rear and they will be bald in a few months. I suppose I could go 275 in the rear, but even the way it sits with the 295's, there isn't much wheel protection lol. The lip of the wheel still sticks out about a 1/4 inch. I'll try to research exactly where its hitting and look into rolling.
