Hey, it was good to meet you Trevor. Thanks for waiting for me, and big ups to Joe for sticking around as well

Oh speaking of which, Trevor, if you don't mind taking a short video of it and post it, that would be great! (totally forgot about it since it was such a busy day)

So I would have to do an update or something?? What are my options (if any) ??

Your only option is to change out your light module. Unless you want to venture into doing wiring stuff, e.g. relay harness triggering fogs to turn on from low beam's wiring. Which in turn could have your fogs auto turn on with low beams as well for normal operation.

Honestly, you can do anything you want, just a matter of how dirty you want to get your hands.

I see. Well, I already wired my AE/Eyebrows to footwell so I guess I just have to do the fogs as well.

Well, I would be very careful with that since I don't remember what that circuit powers up to. What I would do instead is to use a relay harness to trigger the pull from the terminal under the hood. Otherwise I wouldn't be surprised if you blow your fuse(s) left and right.

follow the instructions carefully. make sure you are using the profile called "car key memory" when you start ncsexpert.

The other option instead of the car/key memory method is to change DRL_V_GEDIMMT to wert_02 in your .MAN file and recode LMA.

if you do not know what you are doing, i strongly suggest you head over to bmwcoding.com and read all the FAQs there.

I know exactly what I do but I can not enable this option.
I activated DRL_V_GEDIMMT to wert_02 but still not working.

With the car key method only shows 3 or 4 options in the middle column, but if i read .MAN there are the options that you says so I asked about this method.

Thanks.

what year car is this? where are you? you may need to code other options if you don't have a US car, or have an LCI. Look through the coding spreadsheet on google, there's a couple of other settings related to DRLs that you might need.
