So, the very first day I decide to drive my 550i into work (I've had it since the end of Dec & have not driven it to work), I pull in the parking garage, swipe my card and decide to slid it under the strap in the sun visor. Little did I know I slide it under the mirror sliding cover (garage is quite dark). Nice move! I didn't discover this until I went to leave that evening.
I have tried everything I can think of to get the card out, to the point now where I have damaged the visor. I used my installation tools I got from BSW for the Stage 1 speaker install. Of course, I cracked the mirror in this process. So, I figure that I am going to have to replace the visor, so I decide to slice into the visor behind the strap, so at least it doesn't show. Still can't get to the card because it appears as though there is plastic casing that the mirror slides into.
It is going to cost me $15 to have the card replaced, which I have a feeling will be nothing compared to what it is going to cost me to replace the visor.
Any suggestions?
Also, where would be a good place to find a visor? I was hoping I might find one used. Nothing on eBay for a e60 grey driver's side visor, and couldn't find it on Tishcer's web site. May be another sale for Garry at BMW of Newport.

Sells it for about $113 + core.

Gary @ Newport is your best bet. Good luck!
I've got two pictures stuck in my sun visor as well, one of my wife and the other
of my baby girl. I tried using long razors and just about anything superflat but
it's in there for good.
Maybe this post can share some info for me as well... Hmm, how many people
have this 'mod' anyway?

wait, if ur getting a new visor, take a hacksaw and saw the old visor to get the card.
Yeah, at least you'll save $15 on a card!
