Is this the OEM license plate holder in the rear?

I ordered the fastener kit from Bavarian Autosport (here) and it's not the right size. The screws are way too long to fit anywhere - I thought the small bolts might work but they need to be shorter and skinnier.

Is this not the 545i OEM holder? Anybody have it and can tell me where to get the fasteners? I'd rather not go searching at a hardware store.

Take off the plate mount and take it with you to Lowes. I think the license plate mounting screws are 5mm x 20mm or 15mm long.

It looks OEM, and I agree with Luigi, (except I would go to Home Depot ) go in with the plate holder and let them find the right size.....BTW I didn't have the heart to tell you this yesterday, but Luigi empowered me!!

Yeah, it's OEM. I just put new plates on a couple of weeks ago and that's what I was looking at.

That's weird - I thought the fastener kit from Bavarian Autosport would have worked but it doesn't... 5mmX10mm from home depot did the trick.

That is odd. They're usually spot on with these things. You might want to let them know. Glad it worked out. -C
