I dunno, for some reason I like them, especially if Mike and Bruce can come up with a way to make them brighter. I want to know the GB price, but if it's not that much of a discount I'd buy them anyway.

Hey Mike, any chance you'd want another set to play around with and experiment on? Let me know.

i feel the same way as you here. the light behind the bars is a deal breaker. Could you remove that light behind the bars and put a resistor to not get errors? Damn....i was really hoping these wouldnt have the light behind the bar. There has to be a way to get ride of that light. One of the bulbs has to be for the leds and one has to be for the back lighting, correct?
Good call, if we remove those two bulbs they may look better. Also, the led lines are a different color on the two ends (more orageish, nicer and more like the oem). It's the part in front of the bulbs that change color, if those bulbs are removed they wouldn't only eliminate the background lights but may also change the color of the LEDs to a more OEM like, instead of just red.

Ya know....

Maybe the OEM Pre- Lci lights aren't so bad afterall, huh ?
You make a good point...I haven't even received them yet and I'm already talking about modifications for them!

Regardless, I think these will be superior to the stock lights which have no LED's. And IMHO, the price is right if just for the LED turns and light bars.

I believe the only way to make the Rods brighter is to do what Igor mentioned and is to add more cuts onto the rods. Its tedious but it does make sense.

It will make the light refract through the rods.
It was not proposing to make any changes to the inside of the lights (if I can help it) but instead make all changes from the outside itself. I'll be happy to take a pair of these from one of you and create a working proto type for you.

Just removing the bulbs will give you errors and also the brake light won't be bright enough then.

Good morning everyone.

Guess I've been missing out on this conversation already!

I can also provide more detailed pictures of whatever angles, wiring etc you may need.

In regards to the GB pricing, if you guys still want them at this point, I can work out the specifics with the seller. Keep in mind, he said they only had 20 sets, 10/tinted, 10/clear. Some people may have been turned off on the purchase so it may work out better that way anyways.

Also, if anyone is interested in retrofitting them to make a prototype, (Bruce or nigxdoof) I have a set ready to go.
