This has probably been the fastest group buy people joined within a matter of an hour. LOL

Ok guys, so here's the info I got from the seller so far.
They are willing to work with us on pricing for a group purchase. Pricing will depend on how many buyers.
Since the seller is not a retailer but a warehouse, they don't allow customers to come by and inspect the product before purchase. The person I spoke with did say that I could purchase the item via phone/online and will call the item at the warehouse.
I mentioned my concern about the lights throwing error codes and the representative said "that they have sold hundreds
of them and most of the responses have been positive enough for them to continue selling the product, though they have had some feedback about the lights causing errors too."
IF they do cause error codes, the lights can be returned. I asked about restocking fees and the representative said there is no restocking fee if the lights cause errors. I WILL DOUBLE CHECK AND CONFIRM THIS STATEMENT WHEN I SPEAK WITH THEM AGAIN.
They are only open during M-F 9-5 so I may have to drop by during my lunchbreak and actually buy a set to test for you guys. I'll keep everyone posted but I may not be able to do that till next week if everyone can wait a short while.
In the meanwhile, please continue to add your names to the list if you are interested because the more people we have, the lower the price will be.
Keep these prices in mind for reference:
- If you use BIN on ebay, the full price is $246.99 shipped.
- If you bid and win the auction at starting bid, it's $198.99 + $28 shipping = $226.99

FYI they also carry these, which I actually prefer.

Humm... I would be kind of cautious of the statement of selling hundreds. If that were the case, you would think that us 5ers would have seen them on roads and found them long ago. Perhaps just a mouthy salesman, but who knows.
