LOL this thread sure died down quick.

Anyways it was never guaranteed and honestly, we wouldn't know until we try. There will always be nay sayers as well as hopefuls. Life isn't life unless you give it a try.

IF no one took a risk and tried something different, all you pre-LCI people would not be rolling around with your LCI tail lights right?

Honestly I could kinda care less of the pre-LCI and LCI tails and never really considered the mod. The ONLY reason why I did this testing was to help those out of state people.

Some of you were VERY eager to pick these up BEFORE any testing, but with some convincing and patience, now a number of you saved $200 +/-. Not to mention, its only been 1 day so I'm not sure if they are 100% error free as of yet.

Members such as Bruce and nigxdoof seem to be the community lighting retro geniuses and with a little tweaking, these still have a great potential, for ONE QUARTER the price of the OEM LCI's. Just my .02

Lastly, I had posted this earlier, but I have a product review thread, and if there are still a few interested in a cheaper GB price, I can organize that for you guys but please post there so its easier to track.

No need for thanks guys, though its greatly appreciated.. to be appreciated.

I just hope that I'm continuing the spirit of helping my fellow E60 owners that seems to be characteristic of this forum.

IDK what everyone is talking about, the lights do look good for what they are worth. I'm probably gonna get it for Christmas, if not sometime in February. But just don't say they are soo bad bc they really aren't. At least these lights look good for the $200, when in the other hand the LCI for $1000, don't!
