To be (brutally) honest, I was very close to pulling the trigger on some Bruce cables (did you all see he had a sale due to overruns?) and the LCI lights from Newport BMW (Garry had already sent me the quote).
Then..voila!...this post appeard and I had to jump on them. It was destiny, I imagined.
As for the numbnuts who thought this would make the cars look 'ricey', I have swapped out the tails on my convertible Corvette to LED's (a couple years ago), and rice is farthest thing from its look. I have high expectations on these for my 550i. BTW, mine is black, but I didn't go with smoked. Sorry Alpine White Girl... ;-)

Hope there's not 19 more of you to steal my tail lights!
And someone buy my sprint booster to fund the TakmaN wants tail lights fund.

If I do end up getting them I'll be painting them like my current ones.
Did you have them done or did you do them yourself? If you did it yourself: DIY! If not, how much does that cost? I think one guy quoted me at $180?

$180 wtf? It costed me 40, a guy on a local euro forum paints them at his property.
yeah 180 is bs. I can probably have my paint guy do it for nothing.
jedi you devil stop playing with us emotionally unstable people waiting for the review!
tell your boss that there is a family emergency. since this forum is much like a family, and some members may have heart attacks soon here if there is no review

i painted my tails and it isnt hard at all. im pretty sure i made a DIY in the DIY section.
Im not going to smoke my tails again but i am getting the smoked version. I want to switch it up. My current tails have the red section smoked and these have the white section smoked.
Shitty thing about this mod is once i do it im going to want wheels and a kit again. The tails are going to be an xmas present
