Will the Sprint Booster void warranty?? Am I going to have to uninstall it every time I take it in for service?? Thanks.

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.
On another note - you guys with the sprint booster, who have had it for awhile (like at least 2,000 miles), does it still seem to work as good as the day you installed it? I can understand getting "used" to it, and it not feeling as good as it did when it was new due purely to the newness of it at first, but does it actually still work the same? I've read that once the car adjusts to the sprintbooster it doesn't do what it did when it was new, at least not as well. Any feedback on this?

Honestly I don't know. What I do know is with the new V2 you can "turn it off" with the push of a button. Unless they are down messing with your accelerator pedal, they will never even know its installed to begin with.

Anyone have any input on the question above? I'm curious what the long term affect / satisfaction with the sprint booster's is.
thanks!!!

I am still each time I get in my car. I've learned how to control the SB and driving in any condition is just fine to me. I'm looking to switch and get the SB V2 so when my girlfriend or a valet person gets in I can have the SB turned off. I seldom valet, but when I do I always worry about that.
I've had mine in at least 10k or more now and it still does the job. The other day I was trying to cross a two lane road and make a quick left. Just as I saw a break in the cars on the road I punched it. Before I knew it, I shot across the two lanes and had to immediately turn left to go the direction I was heading. That was the first time I ever got surprised by the SB. Didn't need my coffee that morning to get the pulse up.
I think most people complain about it being jumpy when they first install it. I too experienced it, but quickly learned to feather the throttle. I actually drive 80% of the time with DSC off and in (DS) Sport mode.
