you have to replace the cd changer with the smartlink, you cant use both at the same time.

I threw it off, becauce it didn't work as well as I thought. Malfunctions, failures, and very often crashes. There is a known general MHL/GSM bug and Dension didn't want to help.

Rubbish, sorry.

I retrofitted a CIC and there is no comparison. Works like it should.

I would like to retrofit the CIC as well. How much does it cost to retrofit CIC? I have seen some sites that offer kits, but are not exactly cheap

In Germany you can do it for 1.500 - 1.700 Euro. After selling the TCU, MULF and the old CCC it costs you nearly 700-900 Euro.

One Example: Bimmer Tuning - CIC Navigation Professional

I sold the old stuff on ebay. CCC for 550, MULF 2 high for 150 and Navi DVD for 90. So the CIC costed me nearly 900.

Cool,
unfortunately, for me eBay selling is not an option as at the moment I live outside of the EU, and receiving money is kinda difficult. I will ask the shop in Germany if they will buy back my old stuff from me, even at lower price than what I could get on eBay. I hope they can speak English as my German is a bit "schlecht"

I will try to find some shop that can do the swap hopefully somewhere closer like Munich or even Berlin, but even the drive to Cologne is not out of the question

Has anyone installed this on CIC system? On the website it says they currently don't support Lolipop android devices yet. Does the phone have to be plugged in via USB for the screen mirroring to work?
