Well I'm so pissed off right now trying to get my quad setup on. I've gone to 7 or 8 shops. I bought the 4 titanium tips along with a magnaflow. The magnaflow muffler I had has the tips on it. The setup I was going for was the same as Phi's, replacing the resonator with the muffler and then running pipes back. Well I dropped my car off this morning at a shop, I've been waiting 3 weeks for a free saturday to get it done. Well I went and same story again, "Not enough space, need to buy a different muffler" yada yada. So I decided that I would replace the muffler on the left with the magnaflow and then run a pipe off that pipe before the muffler to the right. So he got start on it, and then called me. The tips you have won't fit, the tips have to be welded directly on to the magnaflow. It was gonna look like shit so I told him put my old muffler back on. So $40 later back to where I started and still no quad. So I'm going to sell the magnaflow and the tips and start over. What setup would you guys recommend?? I was trying to avoid spending $800 on a remus system. Help.

Phil, those shops are talking BS! It will fit. There is more then enough space under there for your exhaust.

Damn. That sucks. 7-8 shops and all of them can't install an exhaust system. It's so easy to put on, I can do it.
If anything, you can try Cherry Bombs.
The ones I got are tubular and will fit no problem.
I wonder how would Cherry Bombs would sound on a I6?

At this point, you haven't accomplished anything aside from wasting your time.
You need to find a competent exhaust shop. Surely there's one in San Antonio ...
otherwise, take a trip to Houston and let Phi show you how it's done.

No shit Phil (tex_phil). I told you to talk to Phi. He had no problems with his set-up.

I did talk to Phi regarding it, and I know what I want, apparently they don't know what they are doing. If I had my own mig welder and a shop I could install this myself, I started welding fabricating when I was 14. Cherry bombs.
I wonder how that would sound. I know for damn sure they would fit. ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)
