Okay, I remember seeing a greyish silver E60 with MTEC kit. Sometimes parked in front of Swork. Don't recall the LMs but definitely no roof racks
Ya the Oinkster is awesome, but its funny you mentioned the pastrami because I thought they were known for their pulled pork sandwiches? Maybe I'm wrong..
Balbs, actually i've never been to Sworks before but have been meaning to try it..
Hey Jason, I was wondering where you were at last week. How is it that you wandered over to Eagle Rock for lunch? I thought you worked in Burbank? I guess it's not that far though. If you guys want to try another good spot, hit up Aunti Em's on Eagle Rock blvd. They're known for their red velvet cupcakes and were featured on Bobby Flays challenge where he comes to your restaurant and challenges you to a cook off of your restaurants specialty. The steak salad is pretty good.

I got the crew together here at work and another buddy of mine at JPL in Pasadena to do a run that day for lunch. It was kinda slow day so a 15 minute trip to get good food didn't seem so unreasonable
. I heard pull-pork too but I am pastrami guy. I am definitely going back there to try the pork and chicken too. Don't you worry!

Crap! So I took the car in the shop this morning. They were wondering what message I saw on the I drive. I told them the front, he says he doesn't understand it because:
1. Front pads look good, however, the rotors need replacing. It's at 28mm and minimum spec is 28.4mm. He doesn't see why the idrive would flag it unless the last person that did the brake job didn't reset the idrive.
2. It's the rear pads that look worn and rotors on that look good.
If I have him all that, he says the total would be around $700 - $800
. At this time I just told him to just do the original plan and just install the front pads, sensor and clear the idrive message for the front.
Now I have to look for somebody to confirm his findings. If that's the case I would have to get rear pads, front pads again, and front rotors, sensors.
This is the first time I've been to this shop. I've heard good things about them so right now I have to check on that by needing a second opinion.
So....I'm still up to that install party or in my case inspection

Picked up the car. John at the M shop says that the brakes (HAWKS) are noisy. I told him they were already noisy before I brought the car in. He says that it maybe due to the undersized front rotors and the HAWK (he described them as "hot") pads may wear the stock rotor down faster.
All in all he says that I would need front rotors, front pads, and rear brakes.
When I picked the car up, I noticed that they reset both front and rear counters for the idrive. It said 15000 before for the rear, now it says 24000??
I drove the car around for a bit. The brakes were still squeaky, but not as loud as before. Then I remembered Hawk's recommedations for bedding the brakes and did that a few times and now it's even quieter.
No I still have to get my rears checked and confirmed.
