I have front Hawk pads that need installing on a 2006 525i. Unfortunately, my friend is busy for the next few weeks. I sent an email to 3 independents in my area and one of them responded that they don't install customer provided parts due to warranty and liability issues. The other 2 hasn't responded yet. Just so you know here is a list that I contacted:

Avus Autosports in Glendale, Ca - the one that won't do customer provided part
The M shop in Los Angeles - No response
BMW PHD in Pasadena - No response

I would do a DIY but unfortunately, I don't have tools and a garage Anybody know anybody that would do it.......cheap or reasonable?

Thanks!

pjinca is up in LA, see if you can get in contact with him and if he has time to help you. I believe he installed Hawk pads on his as well.

Otherwise you can come down to OC and hit up Trinity.

PM me, I can do it for you. I have done toyota2bmw's and redEYEjedi's, as well as my own. No problem.

If you use the M shop, just call them for a faster response. The owner Jon is pretty cool. They get pretty busy sometimes so calling to setup an appointment is your best bet anyways.

Member pjinca installed my Hawks so he definitely knows what he's doing if you consider that option.

for John (pjinca)!
No problems whatsoever!!! Do I smell another install party? I have to do my control arms soon as John's schedule clears for a weekend. You are welcome to bring it to my place as I am fully stocked with tools. Bring beer and pizza and John is all over this yo!

@ John,
Let me know which weekend to shoot for!

Speak of the devil. The M shop called me and they have a cancellation for tomorrow morning so he put me in for 7AM. They are just about 2 blocks from me so I can walk back home and have breakfast while they work on it.

John and Jason, your offers are well appreciated. My decision was pretty much based on time constraints as I have been procrastinating getting the brakes worked on and this morning I got a yellow warning (triangle at 800 miles) for the front brakes. May not be that big a deal to stress at, but it freaked me out.

However, I do see some Ksports in my future not quite yet, but hopefully before the year ends and I would like to hit you guys up on that. In the meantime, if you guys do an install party for another car, I would like to watch and make some alcoholic and artery hardening contributions.

Dude I think I've seen that around. Do you have black reflector blanks on your rear bumper?
